SUMMARY:ACA L1-2 Coastal Kayak Instructor Update
DESCRIPTION:Get together with your fellow instructors to sharpen your skills and meet your four-year requirement to keep your ACA certification current. \nTopics include: \n\nOn-water skills and maneuvers\nRisk management and safety\nAssessment techniques\nSelf and assisted rescue techniques\nTeach back opportunities\nOn-land safety presentations\nAdministrative support\n\nThis is an early season program with cold water. Participants will be in the water practicing skills and must be dressed for immersion. \nThe program will involve a full day on the water preceded by a 1.5 hour virtual session on Monday\, May 5 at :00 pm ET to cover administrative topics. \nDate: May 11\, 2025 \nLocation: Traverse City\, MI  area (Actual launch location to be determined a couple days before the class depending on conditions) \n\n\n \n\nReview course policies
